BB was there int he orphanage BEFORE L...but once L got there..he became smarter then BB...and then near...then Mello..then Matt..and he continued to get pushed back till every one kinda just made fun of him or completely ignored him
He ended up lonely and despite his desperate tries to make presents and give them out and make friends and be kind when being called names. Every one STILL made ignored him, they were all so focused on L and the other three n one cared about him so it slowly drove him crazy being there..but not being SEEN
In one chapter. BB explains he fell down the basement stairs..and Broke his leg.
No one even heard him crying.TT-TT

He laid down there or sat down there int he dark for day son end and No one noticed Until Mello came down looking for some books. So basically after he healed up..he became a royal Bitch
he had enough being Ignored and attacked the 4 top kids after injuring L he ran from home
Taking a collection of photo's and toys and so on and so on with him. He stayed in abandoned places taking in a cat or two and feeding it and slowly getting worse, and going crazy.

He then grew up..learned L was a famous detective...and hated his very existence but in reality just wanted L to be his friend.
